Four Cross Ranch
has over 6,000 acres of contiguous land located in Central
Washington within the Columbia Basin area. Of which 3,200
acres is deeded and an additional 2,800 acres are dryland,
BLM, and private lease land. Of the deeded land approximately
acres are new and improved, center pivot, low cost irrigation,
which provides a variety of crops consisting of pasture, alfalfa,
corn for silage, and optional organic crops. The outside dry
land offers flexibility for use as a summer and winter cattle
operation that is very well watered, well fenced, and equipped
with easy access.
Four Cross Ranch has traditionally been a 350 head cow calf,
year round purebred Angus operation, with the capabilities
of raising replacement heifers and growing yearling Angus
bulls. However, recent years has transitioned to a 1,200 –
1,500 head yearling / backgrounding operation with the emphasis
on producing quality spring and fall bred heifers.
The ranch cattle handling facilities are first class, serviced
by a spacious veterinary style barn. Flanked with a combination
of 20,000 lb. covered scale, covered hydraulic squeeze scale
/chute, steel and concrete loading chutes, 18 feedlot style
pens, 1,500 LF of concrete bunks and aprons. The ranch is
well drained and offers an easy, low stress handling operation.
ranch is complimented with an upgraded 2 bedroom modular home,
40’ x 60’ office / shop, veterinary / barn combination,
covered feed mixing area, and 300 ton hay shed.
